About Reliance Power Limited

Reliance Power Limited was incorporated in 1995 under the Reliance Group to develop power generation projects for both Indian and international markets. It operates across electric power generation, captive coal mining, and renewable power (solar and hydro).

As on March 31, 2025, Reliance Power operated 5,305 MW of generation capacity through its subsidiaries. The Sasan Ultra Mega Power Project (3,960 MW) in Madhya Pradesh remains its flagship asset under the Government of India’s UMPP initiative. Other operational assets include the Rosa Power Project (1,200 MW in Uttar Pradesh), solar PV and CSP projects in Rajasthan, and a wind plant.

The Group maintains businesses in India and internationally in the Netherlands, Singapore, Indonesia, the UAE, and Bangladesh. Domestically, it operates five plants and ten offices, alongside five overseas offices. As of March 31, 2025, Reliance Power had 37 subsidiaries as disclosed in its consolidated financial statements.
