About DCM Shriram Limited

DCM Shriram Limited is a diversified Indian conglomerate incorporated in 1989, with operations across chemicals, vinyl, sugar and ethanol, agri-inputs, building materials and cement. The company is India’s oldest PVC resin manufacturer with six decades of experience, operating integrated complexes at Kota (Rajasthan) and Bharuch (Gujarat). Its global footprint covers 65 countries, supported by 11 Indian plants, one overseas facility and 46 offices; exports formed 2.73% of FY 2024–25 turnover. Key consumer brands include Fenesta (windows, doors, facades), Bioseed (hybrid seeds), the “Shriram” brand for agri-inputs, and Shriram Cement.

The portfolio is broad and integrated. In Chemicals, DCM Shriram produces caustic soda, chlorine, hydrogen, hydrogen peroxide and derivatives such as hydrochloric acid, bleaching powder, aluminium chloride and sodium hypochlorite. Bharuch capacities include caustic soda (2,225 TPD), flakes (900 TPD), hydrogen peroxide (165 TPD) and aluminium chloride (150 TPD), while Kota hosts caustic soda (524 TPD) and flakes (230 TPD). The Vinyl arm manufactures PVC resins (220 TPD), calcium carbide (340 TPD) and PVC compounds through subsidiary Shriram Polytech (24,050 TPA). Sugar and Ethanol operations span four UP complexes with 42,400 TCD crushing, 26,500 TCD refined sugar, 166 MW co-generation, 560 KLD distillery, 12 TPD CBG, liquor bottling (11,800 Tetra cases/day) and a 4,600 TPA potash unit. Agri-Inputs include Shriram Farm Solutions, a 3.79 lakh TPA LNG-based urea plant, and Bioseed in India and the Philippines. Fenesta runs a 12,284 TPA extrusion plant, seven fabrication units, 380 dealers in 975 cities, and presence in three countries. The Cement unit (400,000 TPA) recycles PVC by-products into PPC and OPC.
