Bhansali Engineering Polymers Limited (BEPL) was founded in 1984 and commenced operations in 1986 as a manufacturer of Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) and Styrene Acrylonitrile (SAN) resins. These engineering thermoplastics are widely used in consumer goods, automotive, electronics, and industrial applications. Over the years, BEPL has grown into one of India’s leading producers in this space, with a reputation for maintaining global standards of quality.
The Company operates two strategically located manufacturing plants—at Satnoor in Madhya Pradesh and Abu Road in Rajasthan—supported by marketing offices across Ahmedabad, Gandhidham, Bengaluru, Gurugram, Chennai, and Pune . BEPL does not have subsidiaries, but it operates a key joint venture, Bhansali Nippon A&L Private Limited, where it holds a 50% equity stake.
Milestones include steady capacity expansions, industry recognitions such as quality accreditations for ABS grades under BIS certification, and its evolution into one of the lowest-cost ABS producers in India.
Bhansali Engineering Polymers Limited’s Business Segments
BEPL operates in a single business segment—manufacturing and sale of ABS and SAN resins. Classified as highly specialised engineering thermoplastics, these products constitute the core of its operations.
In FY 2024-25, the Company produced 74,681 tonnes per annum (TPA) against an installed capacity of 75,000 TPA. Sales volume was 74,381 TPA compared with 75,143 TPA in the previous year.

BEPL produces Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) and Styrene Acrylonitrile (SAN) resins, both engineering thermoplastics.
The Company has no subsidiaries. It operates one joint venture, Bhansali Nippon A&L Private Limited, with a 50% equity holding.
