FAQs

All about demat account, brokerage charges, account opening procedure and much more.

A Demat account is a dematerialised account that holds your financial securities, like stocks, mutual funds, ETFs, etc. In India, Demat accounts are maintained by two depository institutions. The National Securities Depository Limited (NSDL) and the Central Depository Services Limited (CDSL).

A trading account is a digital account that allows investors and traders to buy or sell securities.

A Demat account holds your securities in a dematerialised form. It acts as a repository. A trading account, on the other hand, is an account where you can buy and sell the securities.

Ventura charges a flat brokerage fee of Rs. 9 per order or 0.05% of the amount, whichever is lower on intraday and delivery orders.
